On Tuesday morning, one person was killed and five others were injured after a car crashed into a gym in Livermore. According to KRON Channel Four News, an 80-year-old driver was trying to park her Mercedes SUV when she hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal. Her SUV went through the front of the Life Style Fitness Gym on East Stanley Boulevard, at about 6:30 a.m.
The SUV reportedly went about 60 feet and crashed into a classroom at the gym. A 49-year-old victim died from her injuries and five others were injured in the crash. The driver of the SUV did not sustain any injuries.
