On Tuesday morning, a motorcycle cop and a pedestrian were injured in separate wrecks that happened within 10 minutes of each other. According to ABC Channel Seven News, the first wreck happened at 7:22 a.m., on Sixth and Stevenson Streets, in the South of Market area. Initial reports indicate that a Porsche struck a pedestrian. The injuries were described as life threatening, but there’s no word on that person’s current condition.

The second wreck happened on Leavenworth Street and Golden Gate Avenue at around 7:32 a.m. Although very little information has been released, we do know that a police motorcycle officer was transported to the hospital.
