On Wednesday evening, a pedestrian was struck and injured near the Panhandle in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. According to KRON News Channel Four, the collision happened at about 7:15 p.m., at the intersection of Oak Street and Masonic Avenue. Apparently, two male pedestrians in their 30s were struck, and one of the victims suffered from a serous head injury. He was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.

Dangerous Intersection For Runners and Pedestrians

At this time, there’s no word on either victims’ current conditions. Earlier this year, a pedestrian was struck and seriously injured in the exact same intersection. This is a popular area for runners, because it is close to Golden Gate Park. If you have been injured or if somebody you love has been injured while crossing this intersection or any other roadway in San Francisco or San Jose, contact the experienced team at Alexander Law Group, LLP at 888.777.1776.
